The big news in December is that Águeda has the biggest Santa Claus in the world visiting the town. In December the Guinness records will measure the Santa to make it official. Around 3000 people cycle up the Caramulo from different sides of the mountain, and that is all voluntary, no entry fees, no prizes. An event to be remembered for a long time. Everyone who will come and ride with us a week or more will get the jersey as a present. And everyone who wish to have it, can buy it from us. It is made by Portuguese company Salvaggio and the material is Dryclim. It is a simple design which represents all that mountain biking in Portugal is all about, pedaling up and having fun going down! What´s to come in October?
